How To Build a Website With WordPress

Introduction

Hi  Today I’d like to show you how to easily build a website with WordPress.

To begin, I will show you how to:

  •  Log in to WordPress through the Wealthy Affiliate Starter Membership
  •  Choose a name for your website within the SiteRubix.com domain
  • Choose a theme for your website
  • Get familiar with some options in WordPress

Log in to WordPress as a Wealthy Affiliate Starter Member – It’s Free!

Take a look at the menu on the left side of your screen. Click on Websites, the secondary menu pops up. Choose Site Builder.

1. What kind of website do you want to build?

On a free domain, a domain I own. Choose Free Domain

Choose a domain

Choose a name for your website within the SiteRubix.com domain
Example: yourwebsitename.siterubix.com

3. Enter a title for your website. Example: My Website

4. Choose a design for your website.

Wordpress themes

As a starter member you have 12 themes to choose from. After you’ve chosen your theme,  You’ll see a green button that says

Click Here to Build This Site! 

You’ll see a raw, unedited version of your new website. In Part 2 of this series I will get into the actual features of WordPress.

That’s basically all there is to it.
